Accounting Assistant

We are currently supporting a client who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role would suit someone with a couple of years’ experience in finance who is confident supporting day-to-day transactional activities and assisting with the month-end process.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing day-to-day financial transactions, including purchase and sales ledger activities.

Assisting with month-end procedures, ensuring financial information is accurate and up to date.

Reconciling accounts and investigating any discrepancies.

Supporting invoice processing, payment runs and general finance administration.

Providing wider support to the finance team as required.

The Ideal Candidate :

Has experience in a finance or accounts-based role.

Demonstrates strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

Has experience with account reconciliations and an interest in month-end activities.

Is comfortable working as part of a team and managing their workload effectively.
