Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative and Driver on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run the operations from receiving an order to dispatching the goods to the customers.
• Check delivery of inbound goods.
• Ensuring delivery schedules are met in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring timely deliveries of stock and tracking their path.
• Preparing stock labels.
• Monitor the level of inventory and report issues to management.
• Prepare the goods for dispatching, including the required documentation and shipping labels.
• Liaising with customers on site with positioning of goods.
• Assisting at customer events as required.
• To create customer orders for warehouse to pick.
• Assist management team with vehicle fleet operation requirements.
• Assist in booking vehicle repairs and inspections.
• Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information.
• Organise the warehouse according to the inventory allocation.
• You will be carrying out administration tasks on behalf of site management.
• Completing other admin tasks assigned to you by your team leader.
• Maintain the working area clean and tidy at the end of the day.
• Any other duties required by Management within reason.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong written English.
• Experience of administering deliveries / transport planning.
• IT skills to include intermediate Excel and Outlook.
• Great team player.
• Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
