Semi Senior Accountant

Rugby | £27,000 - £32,000 | Hybrid - 1 day wfh after probation

Our client is seeking a Semi‑Senior Accountant to join their growing team, supporting a varied portfolio of clients whilst developing your technical knowledge, client management skills and long‑term career within practice.

• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
• Producing and submitting VAT returns
• Preparing personal tax returns
• Bookkeeping and management accounts
• Supporting senior team members with client assignments
• Liaising with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
• Assisting with the development of trainee staff

• A minimum of 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice
• AAT qualification or studying towards ACA / ACCA
• Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping experience
• Knowledge of VAT and personal tax compliance
• Experience using software such as Xero, Sage or Quick Books
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
• Experience preparing management accounts or supporting junior team members would be advantageous

• Salary of £27,000 - £32,000
