MOT Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an MOT Technician position at their Rugby site. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician seeking a role offering stability, development, and a competitive salary.

42.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with a day off during the week when working a Saturday

Duties of the MOT Technician:

Carrying out vehicle servicing and repairs across a variety of makes and models
Conducting MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines
Performing wheel alignment and general workshop duties
Maintaining high standards of work quality and workshop organisation
Ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and stored
Providing excellent customer service and communication related to vehicle repairs and MOTs
Upholding the company’s professional image through high-quality service

Requirements of the MOT Technician:

Full UK driving licence
Valid MOT Tester licence
Qualified Vehicle Technician with appropriate qualifications
Demonstrable experience carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs, and MOT testing
A positive attitude and motivation to deliver high standards of work as the MOT Technician
Commitment to maintaining a clean and secure workshop environment
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
