Position: Groundworker w/ Forward Tipping Dumper Driver
We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker with a Forward Tipping Dumper ticket to join a new AD Plant project in Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking operative looking for long-term work, with the potential for ongoing employment throughout the project. The role will involve a mixture of general groundworks and operating a forward tipping dumper, supporting the site team with the safe and efficient movement of materials and assisting with general construction activities.

Key Responsibilities Carrying out general groundworks duties as required. Operating a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently. Moving and distributing soil, stone, aggregates and other materials around site. Assisting with excavation, trenching, drainage and associated groundworks. Loading, transporting and tipping materials in designated areas. Working alongside excavator operators, site supervisors and other ground workers. Assisting with setting out, levelling and preparation of work areas.

Maintaining safe access routes and keeping work areas clean and tidy. Carrying out daily plant checks and reporting any defects. Following site RAMS, health & safety procedures and instructions from site management. Working safely around other plant, vehicles and site personnel. Undertaking any other general groundworks duties required on the project. Requirements / Cards Candidates should have: CSCS Groundworker card or appropriate recognised construction card.

CPCS Forward Tipping Dumper/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper preferably with the CSCS logo where required by the site. Previous experience operating a forward tipping dumper on construction/groundworks projects. Good general groundworks experience. Relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) test where applicable. Full PPE. Right to work in the UK. Previous experience working on large construction/infrastructure projects is desirable.
