Pre-Press​/Print Studio

Position: Pre-Press / Print Studio
The Role We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Pre-Press Operator to join our studio team. You will be responsible for checking, preparing, and imposing digital files to ensure artwork is print-ready across our production lines.

Key Responsibilities Check incoming artwork for print suitability, resolving bleed, resolution, spot colors, and font issues. Perform preflight checks using Enfocus Pit Stop and Adobe Creative Suite. Impose and output jobs efficiently for litho plates and digital production workflows. Manage workflow queues and rip files for digital output via Fiery Command Work Station. Work closely with the internal studio, account management, and pressroom teams to ensure seamless job handovers and maintain production schedules.

Skills & Experience Required Proven track record in a commercial pre-press or print studio environment. High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat). Practical experience using Enfocus Pit Stop Pro for preflighting and PDF editing. Hands-on knowledge of digital print workflow software, specifically Fiery Command Work Station .

Experience with automated workflow systems such as Agfa Apogee (or similar B2 systems like Fuji XMF, Heidelberg Prinect, or Kodak Prinergy) is highly advantageous. Solid understanding of bleed, imposition, trappings, color profiles, and plate output logic. Competent in general office applications ( Microsoft Office / Google Workspace ). Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tight deadlines.
