Bring your expertise to a role that allows you to make a positive impact on students and develop their Rugby skills and enthusiasm for the sport. Trinity Grammar School is seeking a proactive, committed, and collaborative Senior Rugby Coach to join our team in Term 1, 2026.
In this role, you will assist with the leadership and coaching of the Primary School Rugby Program and play a pivotal role in assisting with coaching in the Senior School Program. You will take on a proactive role in supporting and extending the learning experience for students and sharing your coaching expertise with the broader Rugby coaching team.
Training/Games for the Primary School Rugby Program is held:
- Tuesday: 7am – 8am
- Thursday: 8:30am – 10:30am
- Friday: 2pm – 4:30pm (For Term 4 only)
- Saturday (Time TBC)
Training/Games for the Senior School Rugby Program is held:
- Tuesday: 2pm – 5pm
- Thursday: 2pm – 5pm
- Friday: 1:30pm – 4:30pm
- Saturday (Time TBC)
- Deliver coaching sessions and facilitate the skill development of students.
- Assist in the planning and preparation for the team for competition.
- Attend all program activities including coaching meetings, training sessions and games.
- Work closely with and provide support to the Director of Sport – Rugby.
- Strong coaching experience and solid Rugby knowledge and understanding.
- Minimum of Level 2 Coaching Accreditation (Level 3 desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams within a school environment, with students across varying age groups and skill level.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner and a professional approach to work – punctual for all coaching sessions and meetings.

- Compliance requirements needed before commencement: NSW Working with Children number (Employment Status), First Aid Certificate (HLTAID
011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID
009), PBTR – Child Protection module certificate. - First Aid Certificate
- Level 2 Coaching Accreditation
- Current Provide/Perform CPR
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Play by the Rules – Child Protection Certificate
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification
- Human Movement / Coaching / Exercise / Sports Science Degree
- Level 3 Coaching Accreditation
