Teaching Personnel are working closely with a mainstream secondary school based in the Rugby area of Warwickshire, to appoint a passionate and dedicated science teacher to join their dynamic science department.

Hours: Full time, term-time only

Location: Rugby (CV22)

Rate of pay: To scale (MPS/UPS)

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience and recent proven track record teaching Science within a UK secondary school
• Excellent subject knowledge and ability to teach all 3 science specialisms
• Strong behaviour management skills and excellent classroom presence

• Plan a range of science lessons covering topics across the national curriculum
• Plan lessons that differentiate the various abilities within each class
• Regularly assess pupils' progress and provide informative feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues within the science department and wider school community
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and welcoming learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
