KS2 Class Teacher

About the role

Justteachers is recruiting for a Year 3 class teacher to work full time in a primary school in Rugby. This role will run from September 2026 until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and teaching engaging lower‑KS2 lessons, supporting pupils’ progress, and contributing fully to the wider school community throughout the year.

The school is a one-form entry setting, serving the community and wider rural area. The primary school is credited for its close‑knit staff, kind and inclusive approach to teaching and excellent facilities.

• Establish and maintain clear routines and high behaviour expectations, creating a calm, purposeful learning environment that enables pupils to thrive.
• Contribute proactively to year‑group and whole‑school planning, sharing expertise, preparing resources, and supporting curriculum development.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and wider development.

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
• Proven experience in Primary Education
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
