Axcis Education is recruiting a resilient and proactive Inclusion Teacher to support pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour within a supportive primary school in Rugby. This is a temporary‑to‑permanent opportunity starting in September, ideal for someone looking to secure a long‑term teaching position within an inclusive and nurturing school environment.
Responsibilities- Lead targeted support for pupils with SEND, including those with challenging behaviour
- Deliver adapted lessons and interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Implement behaviour plans and positive reinforcement strategies
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs
- Work closely with the SENCO and wider staff team to plan and differentiate learning
- Promote emotional regulation, engagement, and social development
- Create and maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching within SEND/inclusion settings
- Strong experience supporting pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Calm, consistent, and confident approach to behaviour management
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of additional needs
