- Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan, prepare and assess high‑quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners.
- Teach a range of topics including digital literacy, programming, cyber security and computer systems.
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement and academic success.
- Contribute to the wider life of the department and support extracurricular technology initiatives where appropriate.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Possesses strong subject knowledge in ICT and Computer Science.
- Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting or relevant industry experience.
- Can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Is passionate about technology, innovation and digital learning.
- Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
- Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community.
