SEN EYFS Teacher

About the role:

Justteachers are currently working with a welcoming SEN school in Rugby to recruit a passionate EYFS SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026
. This full-time role is ideal for a nurturing and creative teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with additional needs in the early years of education. Part-time applications will also be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work with pupils with a range of special educational needs including Autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that support both academic and personal development.

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and parents/carers
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Contribute to EHCP reviews and pupil target setting

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working within SEN settings or with pupils with additional needs
• Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum and child development
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
