Purpose of the Role

Lead a dedicated team in the maintenance and development of our fleet. This role is responsible for all aspects of engineering compliance and fleet development for either our Network Rail owned miller or grinder fleet. As part of a small team of Fleet Engineers, you'll be on the front line, improving reliability, making pivotal changes to maintenance instructions, and pioneering innovations to guarantee seamless delivery for our customers.

Required Experience &

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Background:
    An HNC/D or higher in an engineering discipline is required. You should have extensive experience as a rail vehicle fleet engineer, with a strong background in maintenance, reliability, overhaul, and refurbishment.
  • Professional Membership:
    Member of a professional engineering body, ideally with Incorporated status or higher.
  • Rail Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of rail vehicle engineering, maintenance, the rail operating environment, and Railway Group Standards.
