Carrington West are pleased to be working with a well established growing consultancy based in Rugby who are offering an excellent opportunity for a Town Planner.

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on commercial and rural developments.

The Role
You will be involved in a broad range of planning activities, supporting projects from initial appraisal through to submission and delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals

· Providing planning advice to clients across commercial and rural projects

· Managing project timelines and liaising with stakeholders

· Supporting senior team members on complex planning schemes

· Conducting site appraisals and planning research
Requirements

· Previous experience in a Town Planning role (private or public sector considered)

· Ideally MRTPI Chartered (or working towards)

· Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and regulations

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Location and Working Style

· Based in Rugby

· Primarily office-based, with some flexibility available
