Job Role of the Engineering Team Leader An exciting opportunity has become available for an Engineering Team Leader to join a market-leading heavy industrial manufacturing business that continues to invest in its people, engineering function and production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Engineering Team Leader to play a key role in driving reliability, supporting continuous improvement and leading a well-established engineering team.

The successful Engineering Team Leader will split their time between hands-on maintenance and leading the shift engineering team, ensuring plant reliability, supporting production and driving engineering standards across the site. Sector - Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Engineering Team Leader Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 3 qualified (or equivalent). Multi-Skilled Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical skills.

Manufacturing background. Requirements for the Engineering Team Leader Strong electrical fault-finding experience. Experience carrying out reactive breakdowns and planned preventative maintenance. Previous experience leading or supervising an engineering team. Experience working on industrial plant and production machinery. Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis experience. Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical equipment.

Desirable Requirements for the Engineering Team Leader Comfortable working sically fit and able to work within a demanding industrial environment. Welding and fabrication experience. Food, FMCG, Agricultural or Heavy Industrial manufacturing experience. The Engineering Team Leader will benefit from:
