Role Overview
This is a chance to join specialist engineering consultancy delivering high-spec, practical turnkey solutions to highly regulated sectors like the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
Operating as a tight, collaborative team, this isn't a rigid desk job; everyone gets stuck into every stage of a project. Working alongside senior engineers, you will gain massive exposure to the full product lifecycle, taking ownership of bespoke equipment from the initial CAD concept right through to manufacturing, physical installation, and final testing.
Not only this, but your training and development will come alongside great work-life flexability and balance, and an industry leading benefits package!
Key Responsibilities
Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to produce high-quality GA, fabrication, and component drawings for bespoke process machinery.
Move from the screen to the shop floor to assist with hands-on mechanical fitting, quality control, operations, and equipment assembly.
Attend client sites to conduct precise physical engineering surveys, take accurate measurements, and map out service routes.
Play an active, practical role on-site during the physical installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of equipment.
Maintain accurate engineering records, technical drawing revisions, and comprehensive compliance documentation.
What We Are Looking For
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Degree, HNC/HND, or Apprenticeship) paired with a couple of years of graduate or practical, hands-on engineering experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor, backed by a strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of fabrication processes.
A naturally curious, proactive team player who is genuinely excited to get their hands dirty with assembly and installation, rather than just sitting behind a desk.
