Fees Officer Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Location:

South West London, close to Clapham Junction (on-site role) Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated Fees Finance Officer to manage the billing and collection of all school fees and extras efficiently and accurately. This role includes significant interaction with parents and internal stakeholders and supports the school’s broader financial operations. This is an all-year position requiring flexibility, including occasional weekend work.

Day-to-day of the role:
Production and management of termly fee invoices and extra charges such as trips and exam fees. Handle fee remissions (bursaries, scholarships) in accordance with school policy. Engage in regular credit control activities and monitor incoming pupil finance streams. Manage BACS and AUDDIS administration and process monthly/termly direct debits for fees. Liaise with parents regarding fee queries and manage the collection and recording of registration fees and deposits.

Support the Head of Finance and Assistant Accountant in various financial operations, including the administration of Scholarship and Bursary applications. Prepare financial reports for meetings and assist in the year-end audit process. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Experience in a finance team, with strong experience in billing, credit control, or accounts receivable. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ideally experience with iFinance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive information with tact and diplomacy. Good time management and organisational skills, able to meet tight deadlines. QBE or working towards a professional accounting qualification; an Accounting Degree is desirable.
