Management Accountant

SF Partners are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a well-established and successful business based in Rugby.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their management accounting experience within a supportive finance team. You'll gain exposure across the wider business, working closely with operational stakeholders and playing an active role in monthly reporting, budgeting and financial analysis.

• Reporting into the Finance Director, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Producing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Preparing variance analysis and providing commentary on financial performance
• Working with operational teams to understand performance and provide financial support
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Assisting with cash flow reporting and financial planning
• Helping to improve reporting, processes and financial controls
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects

• We're looking for someone who:
• Is qualified or actively studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Has experience within a management accounts or similar finance role
• Has strong Excel and analytical skills
• Is comfortable working with stakeholders outside of finance
• Is proactive, organised and keen to develop commercially
• Wants to progress towards becoming a qualified accountant
