At Power Conversion & Storage, we’re working on some of the UK’s most complex and critical projects—and we’re looking for a dedicated Deputy Security Controller to support and strengthen our security compliance and infrastructure.
Job DescriptionHelp shape the future of national security compliance. Working closely with the UK Security Controller, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our people, data, and operations meet and exceed Government Agency requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional to apply their expertise in a dynamic, future‑focused organisation.
Your Impact- Support and deputise for the UK Security Controller on all UK Government‑related security matters.
- Lead and advise internal teams on personnel, physical, and information security compliance.
- Oversee the secure handling, storage, and auditing of classified documentation, ensuring alignment with the UK Security Policy Framework.
- Manage and process BPSS and NSV security clearances.
- Build strong working relationships with Government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct internal audits, investigations, and supplier compliance checks.
- Develop and maintain security education and awareness programs.
- Keep policies and processes aligned with changing legislation and government guidance.
- Experience in a professional security role within a high‑compliance, government, or defence environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Government Agency security standards (SPF, JSP, IPSA, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, self‑motivated attitude with sound problem‑solving capabilities.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
- Sole British Nationality and eligibility for SC security clearance.
