KEY
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Day-to-day processing and tracking of purchase orders for both external suppliers and internal partners.
* Checking stock levels to ensure everything from standard inventory to custom orders is replenished on time.
* Help prepare the necessary documents for incoming goods and assist with standard customs and quality records.
* Maintain and update internal system (ERP) up to date, ensuring that item prices and details are correct.
* Act as main point of contact for suppliers to confirm delivery dates and solve any basic shipping issues.
* Work closely with the warehouse and customer service teams to provide updates on what stock is available.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced purchasing, or supply chain role is required.
* IT
Skills:
Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential. If they have used SAP or a similar system before, that is a big plus, but training is provided.
* Attention to Detail:
Must be very accurate when entering data and following company procedures.
* Must possess the ability to stay organised and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
* You will have a professional and clear communication style for talking to vendors and other departments.
* You will be reliable, keen to learn and happy to help the team.
Details of Package:
£25,000 to £28,000 depending on experience 37 week Mon-Thurs 08.00 to 4.30 Early finish Friday / 29 days holiday (plus statutory holidays) Private Healthcare / Competitive Pension / Free parking
