Our client is searching for a hands‑on Workshop Engineer who lives and breathes fault‑finding, thrives in a busy workshop, and loves getting stuck into a variety of tech—from laptops and desktops to printers and POS systems. If you're the kind of person who enjoys cracking tricky problems, staying curious with new tech, and working in a team that genuinely backs each other… you'll feel right at home.
Whatyou'll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing PCs, laptops, printers, and EPOS/point‑of‑sale systems
- Following workshop procedures and safety/ESD standards
- Managing your own workload and hitting quality targets
- Completing all documentation and system updates accurately
- Collaborating with your Senior Engineer to keep priorities on track
- Staying up to date with new technology through ongoing training
- Supporting continuous improvement and delivering top‑tier service
- Strong hardware repair experience (PCs, laptops, printers)
- Confident fault‑finding skills, especially with EPOS equipment
- Previous workshop experience
- Ability to work quickly, accurately, and independently
- Great communication skills and high attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with solid time management
- 3+ years break/fix experience
- J2, Aures, Geller tills repair knowledge
- HP, Lenovo, Toshiba accreditations
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Clear training & development paths
