Days Mon – Fri (8am – 4:30pm, 8am – 3:30pm) – 1 Weekend in 7 on call

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our long standing successful team of engineers at a heavy manufacturing facility in Rugby!

Role and Responsibilities

The role is a largely hands off role, roughly 80% hands off with 20% hands on work when getting involved on major breakdowns.
Taking the lead on suggestions for major mechanical improvements across the site
Delegate day to day working responsibilities
Manage and monitor performance of existing engineering staff and contractors including issuing permits to work.
Ensuring health and safety compliance and adherence across the site.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience as a maintenance team lead/supervisor/manager in an industrial environment
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical maintenance disclipline – Essential for this role
Ability to work in a heavy plant environment – Previous experience not essential
Strong communication skills
