Manual Turner (Nights) Location or Commutable from:
Rugby, Coventry, Daventry, Lutterworth, Leamington Spa, Nuneaton, Northampton and surrounding areas.
Shift: Permanent Night Shift 39 hours per week Pay Rate / Salary:
Up to £25.00 per hour Benefits:

Job Role Position:
Due to continued growth and increased workload, the company is now recruiting for an experienced Manual Turner to join their night shift operation.
Responsibilities include:
Setting and operating manual lathes to manufacture precision engineered components. Working from engineering drawings and specifications. Producing one-off, small batch and bespoke components to tight tolerances. Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds for a variety of materials. Carrying out self-inspection using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers and gauges. Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and housekeeping. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machine shop.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual turning within a precision engineering environment. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience manufacturing components to tight tolerances. Confident using a range of inspection and measuring equipment. Capable of working independently and managing workload effectively on a night shift. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Licence/Certification
Required:
Engineering qualification advantageous but not essential. Time-served apprenticeship preferred. Full UK Driving Licence desirable. Apply:
