Technical Operator

The Technical Operator position in Rugby, CV21 1HA
, involves supporting daily production tasks while upholding strict quality, food safety, and health and safety protocols. Working a 4-on, 4-off rotating schedule, you will alternate between 7:00 am to 7:00 pm days and 7:00 pm to 7:00 am nights. Duties include basic machine inspections, routine upkeep, precise quality documentation, and assisting with stock and material control. This temporary contract pays up to £14.99 hourly.

Candidates should demonstrate reliability, a strong safety focus, and the ability to perform physical tasks efficiently. Previous manufacturing or food processing experience is advantageous, though full training is provided for the right applicant.

Contract:

Temp Pay Rate: £14.99 per hour

• Carry out daily production tasks safely and efficiently
• Maintain quality, food safety, and health and safety standards
• Perform basic machine checks and routine maintenance
• Complete quality checks and paperwork accurately
• Support stock and material control within your work area
• Help with product changeovers and operate FLT equipment when required
• Use systems such as SAP to manage stock and production information
• Support and train team members where needed
• Identify and suggest improvements to processes and equipment

• Previous experience in a production environment
• Able to work independently and make decisions when needed
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible to work across different production areas
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Able to maintain high hygiene and housekeeping standards

• Basic level of education
• Ability to work towards NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
