Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Depending on Experience & Skills The Role
Responsible for leading, coordinating and supporting the assembly and manufacture of condition monitoring equipment, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery through effective team leadership, resource planning, and continuous improvement. Supports operational performance, cost control and delivery commitments.
This is a hands-on role requiring a strong background in electronics, together with good IT/Software skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise the assembly team, ensuring a strong safety-first culture across all activities
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly workloads to align with operational priorities
- Ensure delivery of assembly activities on time, to budget, and to required quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
- Maintain and enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
The ideal applicant will possess:
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, with supervisory or team leadership experience
- Strong electronics knowledge and hands‑on technical capability
- Good IT/Software skills
- Ability to lead teams, plan workloads abd manage competing priorities
- HNC/City & Guilds or equivalent in Electro‑mechanical Engineering (or similar)
