Health and Safety Manager; Warehouse

Working Monday - Friday 40 hours a week, the client seeks a talented individual to join their new site management team. The role oversees all aspects of workplace safety within their warehouse operations. The successful candidate will develop and embed health & safety policies and procedures, leading training, incident investigation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Develop, implement, and monitor health & safety policies across warehouse operations.
• Embed relevant procedures for risk and incident management.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and legal requirements.
• Develop and deliver training to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
• Investigate incidents and implement preventative measures to reduce future risks.
• Maintain health & safety records, audits, and inspections.
• Work collaboratively with managers to ensure operational procedures align with safety standards.

• Proven experience in Health & Safety Management, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations (e.g., COSHH, Manual Handling, Fire Safety).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate teams.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification preferred.
• Ability to assess risks, implement solutions, and drive continuous safety improvements.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Competent user of Microsoft applications such as Outlook, SharePoint, Forms, Excel, Word and Teams.
