Are you an experienced Banksman looking for your next opportunity?

Regional Recruitment are recruiting for a Banksman to join a reputable and growing construction services company. This is a site‑based, safety‑critical role requiring a reliable, proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a wider team. You will be responsible for directing vehicle and plant movement, ensuring safe operations, and maintaining excellent communication across busy construction environments.

Essential:

• Valid Banksman/Traffic Marshal certification
• CSCS Card
• Strong understanding of site safety protocols

Desirable:

• CPCS or NPORS Plant/Vehicle Marshalling qualification
• Experience working on large construction or civils projects
• First Aid certification

• Direct and coordinate the movement of vehicles, plant, and machinery on site
• Maintain safe access and egress routes for all personnel and vehicles
• Communicate clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site management
• Ensure all lifting, reversing, and manoeuvring operations are carried out safely
• Monitor site activity and proactively identify potential hazards
• Support site teams with general labouring duties when required
• Maintain excellent timekeeping and follow daily schedules
• Uphold professional conduct and comply with company uniform standards
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work across multiple sites in Rugby and surrounding areas
• Assist in emergency situations and follow all site safety procedures

• As a Banksman, you will also be expected to:
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Ensure all documentation is submitted to Head Office no later than the following Monday
• Communicate site data to the Operations Assistant in the correct format
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism at all times

• Co‑operate fully with the company and colleagues to ensure statutory and safety requirements are met at all times
