Quality Engineer
Rugby
£35,000 - £45,000 DOE
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 1:30pm
We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a well-established engineering workshop operation based in Rugby.
This is a hands-on engineering quality position supporting workshop operations, inspection activities, supplier quality and project manufacturing processes across complex engineering products.
The role will suit someone from an engineering, aerospace, precision engineering, rotating equipment, fabrication or manufacturing environment with strong experience around inspection, FAIR documentation and practical workshop quality activities.
Key responsibilities
- Generate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102
- Carry out dimensional inspection and measurement activities
- Support APQP, NPI and FMEA processes
- Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis activities using 8D, A3, 5 Why and Ishikawa methodologies
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout manufacturing
- Review and support supplier quality activities and audits
