Quality Inspector
Contek Recruitment are currently working with a reputable precision engineering company based in Rugby, who are looking to add a Quality Inspector to their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Location:
Rugby, Warwickshire
Hours:
Monday to Thursday (6am - 4pm)
Salary: £17 - £20 per hour (Depending on experience)
Reporting To:
Production Manager
- Using calibrated inspection equipment including micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, bore gauges and thread gauges
- Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T requirements to verify product conformity
- Performing detailed inspections of both turned and milled components across a wide range of sizes and tolerances
- Supporting CMM inspection activities where appropriate
- Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining full traceability of inspection data
- Previous experience within a quality inspection position is required
- Previous experience in a precision machining environment is required
- Experience with CMM is desirable
- Ability to use measuring equipment is required (verniers, micrometres, etc)
