The Security Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ryton, Warwickshire, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. The role oversees daily security operations within assigned facilities, supervising security officers, managing duty rosters, and ensuring adherence to company policies, site procedures, and regulatory requirements. The Security Supervisor monitors access control, CCTV, and physical security measures, investigates incidents, prepares reports, and coordinates with internal stakeholders and external partners as required.
The role also supports customer service standards, handles escalations, conducts briefings and training, and maintains a visible security presence that promotes a safe environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors.
- Supervise security officers, manage duty rosters, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Monitor access control, CCTV, and physical security measures within assigned facilities.
- Investigate incidents, document findings, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as required to maintain security standards.
- Support customer service standards, handle escalations, and provide clear communications.
- Conduct briefings and training for security staff; maintain a visible security presence on site.
- Promote a safe environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors through proactive security practices.
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Relevant security licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guarding) is required; CCTV licence is advantageous; experience in corporate/commercial security environments is beneficial.
- Solid physical security skills, including knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and incident response procedures.
- Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written reporting and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- SC clearance would be advantageous, or the ability to obtain SC clearance.
- Excellent customer service skills with professionalism, empathy, and prompt resolution of concerns.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions in emergencies, and use basic IT systems for reporting and documentation (advantageous).
