Do you want to work in a multi‑agency, multi‑disciplinary setting where the primary focus is for the regard of children, young people and their families within the MARAC, DVDS and MAPPA process?
The Risk Assessment Team, which is part of the Domestic Abuse Specialist Team is seeking a part‑time (18.5 hours a week) Risk Assessment Officer to job share with the current post holder. The role will require working collaboratively with partner agencies as the Children and Families representative in multi‑agency settings, with a focus on safeguarding and managing risk.
Key Requirements- Contribute to Warwickshire Families First responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, young people and their families.
- Attend MARAC as Warwickshire Families First representative.
- Attend Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (Clare’s Law) panels as Warwickshire Families First representative.
- Train and support practitioners to develop the skills to refer into and attend MARAC and MAPPA meetings where appropriate.
- Model and develop restorative and relational approaches to growing partnerships and the development of strong professional relationships.
- Provide direction and advice to partners in regard to child safeguarding.
- Be office based 1 day a week in Rugby.
- Current knowledge of Domestic Abuse legislation and the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
- Current knowledge of public protection and safeguarding legislation.
