People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire
.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Class 2 Driver
, Category C Driver or Lorry Driver
.

• Sunday to Thursday
• Start times between 18:00 - 19:00

• Days (06:00 - 22:00): £18.54 per hour
• Nights (22:00 - 06:00): £21.43 per hour
• Overtime (42 hours+): £26.54 per hour

As an HGV Class 2 Driver
, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Multi-drop delivery of cages to hospitals
• Loading and unloading of roller cages
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver
, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C / Class 2 licence
• Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• Valid UK CPC and Digi cards
• Good spoken and written English

• Previous commercial driving experience

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
