HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking for experienced and reliable  Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers  to join our growing general haulage operation in Rugby.

The Role  As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and collection of general haulage loads to customers and sites across the UK.
Duties will include:
Driving Class 1 (C+E) vehicles in a safe and professional manner
Completing general haulage deliveries and collections
Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
Ensuring loads are secured correctly
Completing delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery
Communicating professionally with customers and transport planners
Adhering to all drivers' hours, tachograph and road safety regulations
Maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and presentation
About You  We are looking for drivers who are:
Hold a valid  Class 1 (C+E) licence
Have a valid  Driver CPC
Hold a valid  Digital Tachograph Card
Have previous HGV Class 1 experience, ideally within general haulage
Have a good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
Reliable, punctual and professional
Safety-conscious with a good attitude to work
Able to work independently and as part of a team
