What You'll Be Doing:

The Warehouse and Workflow Team Leader is responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the Hub.

This role ensures the efficient receipt, sorting, categorisation, storage, and distribution of donated goods while coordinating transport operations across shops, clothing banks and donation points. The postholder will lead warehouse operatives, volunteers, and drivers to maximise income from donations, maintain excellent operational standards, and deliver safe, effective, and compliant warehouse and logistics services.

What We're Looking For:

Essential
  • Collaborative approach to achieving departmental and wider organisational objectives.
  • Passion for the work that TAAS does.
  • A flexible approach to allow adaptability to the changing needs of the organisation.
  • Experience supervising or leading teams within a warehouse, logistics, retail, or distribution environment.
  • Experience coordinating operational workflows and stock management processes.
  • Experience leading, supporting, or working with team members/volunteers.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and solve problems effectively.
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements within warehouse and transport environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
  • Experience with in the charity retail sector.
  • Experience using stock control or warehouse management processes.
