We are recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with ADHD and autism, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the school year.

In this role, you will:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 2 pupil, helping them access learning throughout the school day.
• Implement strategies to support attention, emotional regulation, and engagement.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, structured environment.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet the pupil's individual needs.
• Support social interaction, communication, and confidence‑building.
• Contribute to regular feedback and progress updates for staff and parents.

This position is ideal for someone who is patient, consistent, and confident supporting children.

We are looking for someone who is committed, proactive, and passionate about supporting children with SEND. Ideally, you will:

• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
• Have experience working with children, particularly those with ADHD, autism, or additional learning needs.
• Communicate clearly and build positive, trusting relationships.
• Stay organised and manage routines effectively.
• Use initiative and adapt support strategies when needed.
• Remain calm, patient, and resilient in challenging moments.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
