We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist SEN school in Rugeley, Staffordshire. This is a full‑time position starting in February 2026, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role- Providing one‑to‑one and small group support for pupils with diverse SEN needs
- Assisting teachers in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated lessons
- Adapting resources and strategies to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high‑quality support
- Are graduates or soon‑to‑be graduates (all degree disciplines considered)
- Have experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
- Are patient, resilient, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to inclusive education
- Are proactive team players with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn

- Hands‑on experience within a specialist secondary SEN setting

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is previous experience working in a school setting.
