Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is now hiring a Unit Manager in the Medical Surgical Unit who will oversee the day‑to‑day operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, prepare schedules and sign evaluations, handle disciplinary actions, and oversee hiring and firing.

Manage Assistant Unit Managers, Registered Nurses, and related support staff; supervise and direct the work of others; assign, review, and evaluate work; prepare and sign performance evaluations; handle disciplinary actions; manage schedules and approvals.

Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.

Three years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, including two years in a Medical‑Surgical Unit.

OPTION 1:
One year full‑scope supervisory or lead/charge nurse experience over professional nursing staff.

OPTION 2:
Two years Relief Charge Nurse or Relief House Supervisor at ARMC.

Three additional years as a RN in a Medical‑Surgical Unit at an acute care hospital may substitute for required supervisory experience.

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.

• Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Arrhythmia Class

ARMC, owned by the County of San Bernardino, is a 456‑bed university‑affiliated teaching medical center with a 24‑hour Emergency Department, Level II Trauma Center, Regional Burn Center, Behavioral Health Services, Outpatient Specialty Clinics, and five Primary Care Family Health Centers.

ARMC is a Primary Stroke Center, has Baby Friendly designation, over 2800 births per year, and a 30‑bed Neonatal Intensive Care unit certified by Community California Children's Services.
