Job DescriptionThe Paramedic II performs advanced patient care within state‑approved scope of practice in pre‑hospital, urgent care, and emergency department settings. Receives emergency medical telephone calls, dispatches medical ambulance crews, and provides emergency care to injured or ill patients.

Work Schedule:
Days
- New Mexico Paramedic license
- High school diploma or GED plus trade or vocational school in paramedicine
- National Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) License preferred
- AAS and current New Mexico driver’s license (out‑of‑state candidates have 30 days from hire to obtain)
- Certification in defensive driving techniques
- Medical examiner’s exam certification/DOT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required at time of hire
