A K-12 educational setting in Ruidoso, NM is seeking a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment during the current school year (CSY). This role involves working with children and adolescents to assess and treat speech and language disorders in a dynamic school environment.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students presenting with speech and language challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each student’s unique goals.
• Provide targeted therapy sessions focused on improving communication skills.
• Monitor and document each student’s progress meticulously to ensure effective intervention outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Engage families by educating them on therapy strategies and encouraging active participation in the treatment process.

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech‑Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric or school‑aged populations is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology.
