Timeplan is currently working with a large SEN school in the Ruislip area that is recruiting several child support workers to start ASAP. All positions are full‑time long‑term opportunities paid via the agency.

The school caters for students aged 2‑19 with an EHCP for PMLD, Autism (ASD) and complex needs. It has a strong academic focus and aims to develop students' independence in a fun and nurturing way.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to a class of 4‑6 pupils.
• Deliver personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Use PECs and Makaton as required for non‑verbal students.
• Assist with manual handling and assist with tracheostomy and PEG feeding when necessary.
• Support students with challenging behaviour and complex needs.

• Previous SEN experience, particularly with PMLD, complex needs and challenging behaviour.
• Experience supporting children within a school or other child‑related setting.
• One‑to‑one and small group work experience.
• Professional manner and enthusiastic, friendly approach.
• Ability to stay calm, proactive and caring.

• Enhanced DBS (or a current DBS on the update service).
• Training in manual handling; training in tracheostomy and PEG feeding is advantageous.
