Experienced Care Assistant

Overview

At Abbots Care we pride ourselves on changing people’s lives for the better. We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to support vulnerable people in Watford and surrounding areas.

• Help people to leave hospital as soon as practicably possible and to safely transition back to living at home as independently as possible.
• Visit Service Users in their own homes to provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan.
• Provide personal care, administer medication, monitor vital signs, exercise and domestic tasks if needed.
• Liaise with medical professionals such as district nurses and pharmacies.

Pay rates of £13.43 per hour on weekdays and £15.50 per hour on weekends. Working hours between 7am‑10pm with shift patterns of 7am‑2pm and 4pm‑10pm, including alternate weekends. Flexible contracts up to 40 hours a week.
