Job Description
  • Pay rate: £13.45 per hour
  • Contract type:
    Permanent, part-time, 16 hours per week, Sat and Sun
  • Shift times vary between 07:30 and 20:30.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Weekend Retail Assistant to join our team in Northwood, Hertfordshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys interacting with people, working in a fast-paced environment, and taking pride in maintaining high standards within a retail setting.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing outstanding customer service to all customers and visitors
  • Operating the till and handling transactions accurately
  • Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves are fully stocked and well presented
  • Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shop environment
  • Supporting promotional activities and product displays
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages where necessary
  • Following all company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the shop
Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and support the team during busy periods
