What's the role about?
We’re building a brand‑new wholesale field sales team and we need commercially sharp, target‑driven Business Development Executives to win volume transfer deals across the convenience channel. This role is about building relationships, showcasing the benefits of our offering, and securing high‑volume transfer orders.
Location:
North West London.
On‑target earnings: up to £31,900 OTE with company car. Fixed‑term contract until 3 August.
As a Sales Executive, you’ll represent a major wholesaler, selling transfer orders into symbol convenience stores.
Your mission:
- Quickly establish strong working relationships – visit stores weekly.
- Influence store decision‑makers.
- Drive product distribution by selling weekly deals on offer.
- Land volume transfer orders.
This is performance‑led. You’ll have clear targets, clear expectations, and full ownership of your territory.
Who Will Succeed in This RoleWe’re specifically looking for salespeople who have experience in one or more of the following:
- Worked directly for a wholesaler selling into convenience retailers (e.g. Bestway, Booker, Parfetts, Dhamecha, Fillshill, Unitas).
- Strong van sales experience in the independent retail sector.
- Experience selling into convenience stores (e.g. Spar, Londis, Cost cutter).
You’ll also bring:
- A proven track record of hitting or beating targets.
- Confidence negotiating volume agreements.
- Experience securing transfer orders.
- The resilience to handle objections and still close.
- A competitive mindset – you play to win.
- Full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
This is a 2‑month fixed‑term contract. The contract is short‑term because it is a brand‑new launch, but high performers may be offered an extension.
