Delivery Manager | RAF Northolt

Overview

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an energetic Delivery Manager to join our Accommodation contract. This is a unique opportunity to lead day-to-day operational delivery across a large and varied housing portfolio, ensuring service performance, safety and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in a major seven-year contract delivering repairs, maintenance, void preparation and project works to over 27,000 homes across the South of England.

VIVO provides facilities management and accommodation maintenance for the UK military and its partners.

The role is based at RAF Northolt with travel up to 3x a week to other sites in the area. Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary is £40,000-£45,000 per year, dependent on experience.

• Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team and specialist contractors to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and servicing.
• Manage performance and budget targets, driving value for money while ensuring safety and compliance remain at the forefront.
• Monitor area-related KPIs month on month and use data to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of the repairs service, including out-of-hours coverage and complex case management.
• Coach and support your team to reach their potential and collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of profit and loss performance and ensure financial and operational efficiency.
• Assume responsibility as the Responsible Person for Legionella and asbestos management.

• Proven track record of managing repairs and maintenance services, ideally in a property or housing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-discipline teams and contractor networks.
• Solid understanding of health and safety, compliance and quality assurance; ability to manage budgets and report on performance.
• Confident communicator and collaborator; proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS, or equivalent experience. A health and safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH or SMSTS) is desirable. Prior experience as a Responsible Person is also desirable.
