Payroll Administrator

Portfolio Payroll is recruiting on behalf of a fantastic accountancy practice for an experienced Payroll Bureau Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys working across multiple clients and payrolls and is looking to develop their career within a busy payroll bureau environment.

• Weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls
• Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime, bonuses and deductions
• Supporting RTI submissions and payroll reporting
• Assisting with pension auto-enrolment and reconciliations
• Producing payslips, reports and payroll summaries
• Handling payroll queries from clients and employees
• Maintaining accurate and confidential payroll records
• Supporting year-end processes, including P60s
• Liaising with HMRC, pension providers and clients
• Providing general support across the payroll bureau

• Numerically strong with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple payroll deadlines
• Confident using Excel and payroll software
• Experienced with systems such as Sage, Superpay or similar
• Professional with excellent client/customer service skills
• Organised, methodical and proactive
• Keen to learn and build a long-term career in payroll

Salary up to £33,000
