The Opportunity:
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse range of clients, build long-term relationships while delivering high-quality accounting and tax services. You will act as a trusted adviser, helping businesses across multiple sectors achieve their financial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparation and review of statutory accounts for a broad range of clients Preparation of business tax computations, partnership returns, and personal tax returns Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and providing ongoing support and advice Managing and developing a portfolio of clients Identifying opportunities to add value and maximise client profitability Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required Assisting with audit and assurance assignments (experience beneficial but not essential)
About You:
We're keen to speak with candidates who have a strong background within accountancy practice and enjoy working closely with clients. You will ideally have: AAT qualified as a minimum, with ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships Good working knowledge of VAT, payroll, corporate tax and personal tax Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial reporting requirements Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to client service Audit experience would be welcomed, but is not essential What's on Offer?
