Search is working with a well‑established and highly reputable construction company who is recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer on a permanent basis. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who come from a concrete repairs, construction, or civil background.

The primary objective is to pro‑actively support the business development element of the business.

• You will be expected to work individually and as part of the team, researching and understanding pre‑qualification and tender requirements to ensure submissions are accurate, fully compliant, and deadlines are met.
• Identifying winning bid themes, strategies and actions.
• Standardising tender bid submissions and adhering to tender process.
• Providing support to the pre‑construction team and producing overall tender submissions.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with technical teams.
• Liaising with contract management teams to produce content.
• PQQ/ITT reviews.
• Liaising closely with senior colleagues to meet overall objectives for pre‑qualification questionnaire submissions.
• Completing the quality content of tender submissions, collaborating with pre‑construction and construction teams when working on tenders.
• Collating, compliance checking and submitting full tender documents.
• Ensuring content and format of responses maintain brand consistency.
• Supporting or covering other members of the bid team.

Ideally, candidates should come from a concrete repairs, construction or civil background.
