Salary: M3 - UPS3 plus TLR2

Support the aims and ethos of the school, having high expectations of self and othersTeach the class and ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting are carried out according to the curriculumCreate a stimulating, nurturing classroom environmentRegularly update and discuss progress of individuals/groups with SLT at half termly pupil progress meetingsLiaise with colleagues including Teaching Assistants/SENDCo to deliver units of work in a collaborative wayCommunicate and cooperate with specialists from outside agenciesFollow all school agreed policies and proceduresWork with parents and attend consultation eveningsContribute to staff development activities, attend team and staff meetingsDevelop links with Governors, LA and neighbouring schoolsAct as a role model in terms of dress, punctuality and attendanceThis job description can be reviewed and amended periodically to reflect the school's priorities identified in the School’s Development Plan.
