Auxiliary Plant Operator – Runcorn

Viridor is a leading waste management and resource recovery company in the United Kingdom.

Location:

Runcorn, Cheshire, GB.

Working hours:

40 hours per week on a shift pattern that includes nights.
Salary: £37,472 per year plus a shift allowance of £6,594 and participation in an annual bonus scheme.
The role is based in our Energy Recovery Facility where you will support the company’s climate goals by operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.

• Competently carry out operational activities within the boiler house and turbine hall, ensuring they are carried out in a safe, professional, economical and timely manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the efficient day‑to‑day operation of the plant under the direction of the Shift Team Leader, maximising plant availability at the facility.
• Assist the Shift Team with plant operation while maintaining all company standards and ensuring legal compliance.
