Building Services Engineer

Due to continued growth, a small and well‑established building services consultancy is looking to appoint an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer to support ongoing project delivery.

You will support the delivery of mechanical building services design projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to Stage 7, working closely with contractors and project teams to ensure coordinated, buildable solutions.

• Mechanical design within UK building services projects
• Producing and reviewing drawings using AutoCAD
• Supporting technical submissions and site coordination
• Liaising directly with contractors and project stakeholders
• Ensuring designs are practical, well‑presented, and deliverable

• Proven experience in UK mechanical building services design
• Exposure to RIBA Stages 4-7
• Strong AutoCAD capability
• Practical, contractor‑facing mindset
• Strong attention to detail and professional presentation standards
• Ability to manage workload independently and take ownership of projects
